In the last 12 hours, 2.860 inspections were carried out in Cyprus regarding the movement of pedestrians and vehicles.

A total of 74 complaints were made by the Police in the context of the controls for the application of restrictive measures against the spread of coronavirus disease.

According to a representative of the Police in the KYPE, in the last 12 hours that ended at 6:00 this morning, 490 inspections were carried out on premises with one violation in Limassol, while 2.860 inspections were carried out throughout Cyprus regarding the movement of pedestrians and vehicles with 73 violations.

Regarding the movements, 492 checks were carried out in the province of Nicosia with 10 complaints, 869 in Limassol with 36 complaints, 237 in Larnaca without complaint, 564 in Paphos with 14 complaints, 183 in the free area of ​​Famagusta with 5 complaints, while 137 inspections were carried out in the area of ​​Morphou without complaint. The Traffic Headquarters carried out 327 inspections with 1 complaint, while the MMAD carried out 51 inspections and made 7 complaints.

In relation to the premises, 137 inspections were carried out in Nicosia, without any violations, 31 in Limassol with 1 violation, while 77 inspections were carried out in Larnaca, 148 in Paphos, 23 in Famagusta and 74 in Morphou without reporting violations.
