In a total of 967 inspections of premises in all provinces for faithful compliance with the Ministerial Decrees, in order to limit the spread of coronavirus - COVID19, the Police carried out from 6 p.m. yesterday Wednesday until 6 p.m. today.
As a representative of the Press Office of the Police stated in KYPE, during the inspections, members of the Force made a total of 13 complaints of premises and 43 complaints of citizens, for violations of the Legislation and the relevant decrees.
More specifically, in the province of Nicosia 120 inspections were carried out and 5 complaints of premises and 15 citizens were found, in the province of Limassol 318 inspections were carried out with 2 complaints of premises and 17 citizens, in the province of Larnaca 200 inspections, from which no complaint of premises emerged, while 5 emerged complaints of citizens, in the province of Paphos 47 checks were carried out and 5 complaints of premises and 4 citizens were made, in Famagusta 133 inspections which resulted in a complaint of a property and a citizen and finally, in the area of Morfos, 149 inspections were carried out and a complaint of a citizen emerged, while no complaint of a property emerged.
Furthermore, at Larnaca and Paphos airports, a total of 9 passenger complaints were made for not having a Cypriot flight card, as well as for not using a protective mask.
Specifically, 5 were reported for not having a Cypriot flight card at Larnaca Airport and 2 who did not wear a protective mask, while at Paphos Airport 2 complaints were made for not having a Cypriot flight card.
