In accordance with in force Decree, employees in companies / professions that are reactivated on February 8 are obliged to undergo a rapid antigen test before returning to their workplace. In this context, the pan-Cypriot program of free control with rapid antigen test of the Ministry of Health continues, in order to ensure that the reopening of companies / sectors will be done smoothly and safely.
Based on the above and to enable the control of all employees who will return to their workplace, it has been done grouping employees alphabetically based on their last name, as follows:

The workers are encouraged to observe the above alphabetical grouping, so that the program is organized and avoids overcrowding and hassle. Those employees with a surname from A - L (Greek alphabet) and A - M (Latin alphabet) who did not undergo a laboratory test, are asked to do so in the following days, after A condition for them to return to work is the production of a negative result fast test.
The employee control program is carried out at the same time as the general population control program. For the best service of all citizens, for the period February 5-7 will work 56 sampling units in all Provinces and in extended hours. It is noted that at the same sampling points, employees in companies / public and wider public sector can also undergo a rapid test, in order to ensure the mandatory weekly rapid antigen test of staff as follows:
- Businesses / services that employ up to 3 people, the audit should be done on all employees.
- Businesses / services employing from 4 to 10 people, the audit should be done on at least 4 employees.
- Businesses / services that employ more than 11 people, the audit should be done on at least 4 people or 20% of employees, whichever is greater in number.
