The Minister of the Interior, Nikos Nouris, will inform the Council of Ministers today about the damage caused in the Provinces of Larnaca and Famagusta, due to the intense weather last weekend.
The Minister is expected to submit a relevant proposal to support those affected, with priority being given to those who suffered damage the first homes.
The biggest problem was found in the Municipality of Dromolaxia - Meneo, with approximately fifty houses damaged.
As far as Famagusta District is concerned, dozens of applications have been submitted for damages caused to a small number of first homes, hotels, businesses and holiday homes.
