The Police carried out 2.873 checks in the last 24 hours during which complaints were filed against 20 citizens and 1 person in charge of the premises for non-implementation of measures against COVID-19.
According to the Police, in Nicosia 1.301 checks were carried out and 6 citizens were reported, in Larnaca 514 checks which resulted in a complaint against a property and in Limassol 197 checks and complaints of 6 citizens.
In Paphos 6 citizens were reported in 170 inspections, in Famagusta 370 inspections were carried out and 2 citizens were reported and in Morphou no complaint was filed in a total of 98 inspections.
The Traffic Police carried out 151 checks and the Coast Guard 72 without any complaints.
Most citizens complained about not using a mask.
