The authorities in the province of Famagusta were mobilized after new legal arrivals of immigrants from Syria.
Specifically, according to the information, four ships with a total of 194 migrants from Syria entered at midnight off Cape Gremos from Lebanon, alerting the Search and Rescue Coordination Center.
There were 110 people on the first boat, 51 on the second, 8 on the third and 23 on the fourth boat.
As part of the operation 4 arrests of people who are alleged to be traffickers.
All the migrants were transferred to the Pournara Reception Center in Kokkinotrimithia and will give statements in order to identify the traffickers.
