Great success for the Lyceum of Kokkinochorion Fotis Pitta, who represented Cyprus at the European Conference Euromath-Euroscience 2018 in Poland and won the Third Prize in a Pan-European event with participation from many countries around the world.
The students won the First Pancyprian Prize in the Matheatre Cyprus 2018 Competition on February 9 and secured their qualification in the European competition Euromatheatre 2018 in Poland, presenting with great success the play "Relationship Acts" and receiving excellent reviews from the judges.
The students Linos Papagiannis and Charalambos Sotiropoulos participated, the students Grigoria Christofi, Panagiota Markou and Olympiada Chrysostomou and the teachers Eva Triarou Loizou - Mathematician, Katerina Chatziioannou Stratos - Fi.
The participation of pupils in the competition could not have taken place without the contribution of the sponsors, who covered part of the travel and accommodation expenses of the children in Poland.
The team of students and teachers had the full support of the Director of the Lyceum of Kokkinochorion, the Coordinator of Mathematics and the President of the Parents' Association.
