In a moving event of the Cultural Club of the Frenaros Community Council, held yesterday 22.6.2023 at the Frenaros Community Hall, mothers of many children were honored.
The Mayor of Frenarou, Mr. Michalis Chatziyorkas, and the President of the Famagusta Provincial Committee for Multiple Children, Mr. Nikos Tassos, addressed the greeting. The main speaker was Dr. Irini Hatjilouka - Black, mother of many children and First Education Officer of the Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth. The event was presented by the philologist Georgios Moustakas.
The evening was interspersed with imaginative dances from the Dance Departments of the Cultural Club with dance teacher Ms. Christina Ioannou. The decoration was overseen by the instructor in the Painting Departments of the Group, Mrs. Christina Varnava. This is the third event of the Cultural Club, in which mothers of many children of Frenaros were honored without, of course, having exhausted the list. During the last century, Christina Kile and Chrystallou Kousoulou – Peka gave birth to 12 children, while Pantelou Kourris, Angela Pigou and Mariou Papanikola (Poularou) gave birth to 11 children!
Also, four major sponsors were honored for their long-term contribution and support to the Cultural Group: the Community Council of Frenaros, the Company "SAVVAS HATZIGIORKIS & SONS LTD (MYLOI HATZIGIORKI)", the Confectioneries "LIOTATI LOTIER" and the Bakeries "THIMONIA"
