Giannakis Koitazos announced his intention to be a candidate for the position of President of the Famagusta Provincial Self-Government Organization in the upcoming elections for the reform of Local Self-Government as an independent candidate.
The Director of the Project for the transition of the Sewerage, Water Supply and Licensing Organizations of our District to the new District Self-Governing Organization of Famagusta (EOAA) Giannakis Koitazos in a post on Social Media wrote "I inform you that I intend to run for the position of the President of the District Organization Municipality of Famagusta in the upcoming elections for the reform of the Local Government as an independent candidate. Until the July elections there is a lot to be done and through very suffocating schedules. I clearly state that I am not a political person and that as the responsible Technocrat for the project, I will continue to work towards the creation of an Organization that will be functional and financially viable to be able to provide the required services to citizens at the lowest possible cost."
