Alarm signaled to special schools and nursing homes from the new increased number of cases.
According to the Ministry of Health, 52 of the 262 current cases come from the program of control of nursing homes and other closed structures concern 15 cases that were identified in the nursing home in Peristerona. The other 37 are from the "Apostle Peter and Paul Foundation" in Liopetri.

The official announcement of the Ministry of Health:
"According to the Ministry of Health, a total of 262 cases of coronavirus confirmed through molecular examination are announced today. Of these, 28 concern individuals who in the previous days had a positive result in rapid-tests and then underwent molecular examination and are now officially confirmed as cases.
The 52 cases from the program of control of nursing homes and other closed structures concern 37 people at the Peter and Paul Foundation in Liopetri and 15 cases were found in a nursing home in Peristerona.
According to the Ministry of Health, there is currently no information on whether they are all residents or if they are staff and how many from each group. In both institutions the control was done by the Ministry after the detection of a case. ”
The announcement of the Ministry of Health caused upset as most of those who had undergone an examination were not informed about the result of the examination before it was published in the Media.
