On the occasion of the funeral of the President of the Community Council of Liopetri, the page "Xylofagou, our community", published an old article in the newspaper "Phileleftheros" dated January 8, 1995, in which the then newly elected Commonwealth, Kyriakos Trisokkas, analyzes his vision for his Community.
Among other things, he refers to the problems faced by Liopetri as well as to his vision and more specifically, expresses his anxiety for the development of the Potamos area with the project of Regeneration, a project for which he fought intensely until the signing of the opening contracts of work this year, but which unfortunately could not see it completed.
