A new traffic collision took place yesterday afternoon in Liopetri, where a 59-year-old motorcyclist from Liopetri was injured and taken to the General Hospital of Famagusta.
According to the Police, around 16:40 on Tuesday afternoon, on a road in Liopetri, a vehicle driven by a woman from Ormidia tried to turn into a parking lot, as a result of which the motorcyclist was stopped.
As a result of the collision, the 59-year-old was thrown on the asphalt, resulting in injuries.
He was taken by ambulance to the General Hospital of Famagusta, where he was found to have fractures in various parts of his body and was detained for treatment.
The case is being investigated by the Xylofagou Police Station.
