This year's Carnival Queen, Maria Armenaki, is presented today by the Municipality of Ayia Napa.
In a press conference that will take place today at 10 am at the International Sculpture Park of the Municipality of Ayia Napa at the location of the sculpture "GATE", the Municipality of Ayia Napa in collaboration with the Municipality of Paralimni as organizer, will present Miss Cyprus 2017, Maria Armenaki as this year's Queen of Famagusta Carnival.
It is noted that the chariot of the King Carnival is taken over by rotation every year by all the Municipalities of free Famagusta.
During the press conference, the events for the Famagusta Carnival that will start on Swan Thursday, February 8 and will end with the big parade on Sunday, February 18 in Paralimni will be presented.
The official event of handing over the scepter will take place on Swan Thursday in Paralimni Square, where last year's "Queen of Tourism", Florina Homerou, will anoint this year's Queen.
