A total of 68 patients with coronavirus are being treated today, Thursday (18/03), at the General Hospital of Famagusta.
In today's intervention on the show "Protoselido", the Scientific Director of Famagusta Hospital, Amalia Hatzigianni, stated that out of the 68 patients, six are in the Intensive Care Unit.
On the positive side, he noted that a total of fourteen discharges were granted yesterday, Wednesday, while he stressed that there have been several admissions in recent days, with the youngest patient currently being 24 years old.
He added that the average age of patients was reduced to 62 years, as the elderly were caught and vaccinated.
It is worth noting that until 07.30 in the morning at the Larnaca General Hospital in a ward Covid-19 20 patients with coronavirus are being treated.
