The Minister of Transport, Communications and Works, Giannis Karousos, discussed urban planning projects in the free area of Famagusta today at the Municipal Palace of Paralimni.
A written announcement of the Municipality of Paralimni states that during the visit of the Minister of Transport, an on-site visit was made to the 1st of April Avenue. This was followed by a discussion at the Municipal Hall on the urban planning works of the Municipality (Kappari - Giorki Papadopoulou - Korai - Megalou Alexandrou - Stadiou), on the regional road networks Sotiras, Limni, Agios Panteleimonas - Oasis, Kapiasro - De Kaparyos Protaras - Cape Greco, for the quay of Paralimni and for the city bus routes ".
Giannis Karousos, according to the announcement of the Municipality, stated that the Ministry as well as the competent officials are fully aware of the specific projects whose execution is pending for the Municipality of Paralimni. He added that the urban planning projects of the Municipality, which are a necessity for Paralimni and for the wider province of Famagusta, are in the first priority and the planning of the actions of the Ministry.
The discussion at the Municipal Palace of Paralimni was attended by, among others, the Municipal Engineer of the Municipality, officials of the Technical Service of the Municipality of Paralimni and members of the Municipal Council, the General Director of the Ministry of Transport and other officials of the Ministry.
