The entertaining and educational presentation on the power and magic of the moving image, which is addressed to everyone, will be presented at the Paralimni Youth Offices (13 Antoni Papadopoulou, 1st floor, Paralimni) on Friday, January 11, 2019, at 7:30 pm.
The presentation will be made by the historical and theoretical cinema Doros Dimitriou in the form of a lecture and will include slides with elements, images and small excerpts from films, documentaries and interviews.
The goal is to spread the cinema in its proper dimension to the general public. In an educational and entertaining way, very interesting elements will be presented that highlight the power of this medium, on many levels, but also the charm of perhaps the most important art form of our time. Special mention is made in the Cypriot Cinema, while the Cypriot director Michalis Georgiadis will be present at the presentation.
A discussion will follow with questions and comments from the attendees.
