The big carnival parade that took place in Paralimni, surpassed all previous ones in terms of visitors who chose the province of Famagusta for the three days.

The parade was preceded by the chariot of the Municipality of Paralimni in which slogans were written for the reform of local government, full of implication for those who react to the unification of all local authorities in one Municipality, while the Mayor of Paralimni Theodoros Pyrillis participated in the parade dressed in traditional clothes.
The chariots of the Municipality of Deryneia with the theme of the comic book hero Batman, the chariot of the Municipality of Sotira with the theme "Fairies and Elves" and the chariot of the Youth of the Municipality of Paralimni with the theme of the Oscar-winning film "Joker" also stood out.
The queen of this year's carnival is Maria Kalimera, who represented the Municipality of Paralimni as Queen of the Guinness Awards.
The parade did not lack satire such as the chariot on the theme of GESY.
