A driver, aged 119, who was involved in a traffic collision, in the province of Famagusta last night, tested positive for driving under the influence of alcohol, with an indication of 41μg%ml.
The traffic collision happened shortly before 9.00:41 on Monday evening, on Protaras Avenue, in Paralimni, where under circumstances that are being investigated by the Police, the XNUMX-year-old driver collided his car with another passing car. No one was injured in the collision between the two vehicles.
Members of the Police rushed to the scene of the collision, where they submitted the 41-year-old driver to a breathalyzer, with an indication of 119μg%ml instead of up to 22, which is the permitted limit. He was arrested for the offense of driving under the influence of alcohol. At the end of the police examinations, he was released, to be summoned before a Court of Justice to hear the case.
