The cancellation of the sale of the first house was managed by citizens who gathered outside the auction room in Paralimni this afternoon.
Dozens of citizens gathered at the auction site, on Agiou Oros Street in Paralimni, around 1 at noon, who stood outside the room to avoid the procedure.
This is the first house in the area of Vrysoudia in Paralimni with an area of 338 sq.m. and with a reserved sale price as proposed by the bank of € 562.000.
According to information, the owner of the house is in settlement procedures with the banking institution, having paid thousands of euros so far, while, despite asking for a period of three months to sell it himself and pay off his debt, the auction procedure was set normally today.
A large group of ELAM members also gathered at the site. This is the 32nd sale process that is canceled thanks to the intervention of citizens, while out of the 11 properties to be sold out of the 32, they had interested parties.
