PARALIMNI: The 21-year-old motorcyclist is in critical condition

A 21-year-old resident of Paralimni, who was injured in a new road collision that happened yesterday afternoon in the province of Famagusta, is hospitalized in a critical condition at the Nicosia General Hospital.

The collision happened around 6.30pm. yesterday, on Protaras Avenue, Paralimni, when the 21-year-old, under circumstances that are being investigated, lost control of the motorcycle he was riding, causing it to hit the pavement and drag onto the asphalt.

As a result, the 21-year-old was injured and taken by ambulance to Famagusta General Hospital. He was found to have suffered a fractured skull and subarachnoid haemorrhage. Due to his health condition, he was taken to Nicosia General Hospital, where he was kept for treatment. His health condition is described as critical.

The Paralimni Police Station is investigating the causes of the collision.
