All the possibilities are being investigated by the Fire Service in cooperation with the Police and the Electromechanical Service for the fire that broke out today at noon in Paralimni.
According to the first indications, the fire seems to have started from the construction site materials of an apartment building in Paralimni, while it is being investigated whether it is due to a human factor, possibly from a lit cigarette butt. The fire completely destroyed an adjacent container and expanded to two apartments in a neighboring apartment building, which was evacuated as a precaution without endangering the occupants.
