30 children from Paralimni wanted to send their own strong messages
On Friday 27/04/18 at 07:30 30 third year students at Xenion High School will take part in a global 30 hour hour campaign, which will last until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday 28/04/18.
The students of the school will join thousands of students worldwide in coordination with the organization "World Vision" to offer hope and future to children who die every day of hunger. The purpose of this activity is to awaken society to the problem of hunger that plagues the planet, especially affecting young children.
Every 10 seconds a child dies of starvation or malnutrition. Students will raise money during the 30 hours, which will later support the organization "World Vision".
The students will spend the night together at school. On Friday afternoon they will offer voluntary services to voluntary organizations of the Free Province of Famagusta.
