Training program for "Agrotourism - Alternative Tourism, implemented by the Development Company of Larnaca - Famagusta Provinces.
A press release of the Company states that the program is organized "in the framework of the implementation of the Local Development Strategy of the Rural Areas of the provinces of Larnaca - Famagusta 2014-2020 of Measure 19 - Leader".
The general objective of the project is to offer to the participants, entrepreneurs and business personnel active in Agrotourism - Alternative Tourism of the Area of Intervention of the Local Action Group (LAG), specialized theoretical and practical knowledge, adapted to the Cypriot data, on the issues of Agro Alternative Tourism ".
According to the bulletin, the training program "Agrotourism - Alternative Tourism" started at 10 and will end on January 24 at the Environmental Information Center of Larnaca Mountain, in Skarinou. The program involves 32 trainees who are residents of the Municipalities - Communities of the intervention area of the LAG ".
The training program also includes two days, ie 14 hours of educational trip that will take place in Tuscany, Italy where participants will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and learn new practices regarding agritourism.
