The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works announces that regarding the schoolgirl's accident, while she was returning home by bus from Deryneia High School, the Minister of Transport contacted the parents directly to be informed about the girl's health condition. and the circumstances under which the accident occurred.
According to an announcement, the competent services of the Ministry, such as the Road Transport Department and the Public Transport Directorate, following the instructions of the Minister and always in consultation with the Police, have already started checking the driver's professional competence, the suitability of the bus, the conditions with which the accident took place, but also the daily conditions of transporting the children from the specific bus.
Finally, it is noted that the primary concern of the Ministry of Transport is the safe transport of passengers and in particular the movement of students by school buses.
