The death of 48-year-old Maria Christofi on Monday, February 8, 2020, spread grief in the Cypriot community of Britain.

A year later, her family issued a statement saying goodbye to her:

She left behind her sad parents, Petros and Anastasia Christofi Pero from Sotira Famagusta, brothers Giannis and Eva, bride Andri, groom, Roberto, nieces, Eleni, Anastasia and Josefine, nephew Christoforos, husband, children, A, , and relatives and friends.
She was a kind, affectionate, kind, very nice and very discreet lady even during her illness, she thought of others. It will always live in our hearts and minds and will never be forgotten. Our earthly angel. May her memory be eternal.
Maria's first memorial service was held last Monday, February 1, 8 at her grave.
