A 78-year-old driver from Sotira was involved in a car accident in Frenaros this morning.
According previous update from Famagusta.News, a 78-year-old driver from Sotira today at around 9:25, in the morning, while driving his car on the Frenaro-Liopetri road, under conditions investigated by the Police, seems to have lost control of his vehicle, as a result of which crashed into a house wall and then overturned on the street.
Due to the extensive damage suffered by the vehicle, the intervention of the Fire Service was needed, whose men proceeded to release the driver.
The 78-year-old was then treated at the General Hospital of Famagusta. According to the Police, his health condition is good, nevertheless he was detained for precautionary reasons, mainly for medical reasons.
The Famagusta Traffic Police is investigating the causes of the accident.
