Famagusta MP Dr. Kyriakos Hatzigiannis sent a letter to the Chief of Police requesting the investigation of the allegations of theft of machinery in the Free area of Famagusta.
Specifically, Mr. Hatzigiannis stated in his letter that citizens of the Republic who live in the Free area of Famagusta have contacted him, who reported a series of cases of theft of machines from a spiral operating in the area.
This situation, as Mr. Hatzigiannis reports, worries the citizens of the area as they feel that they do not receive the required protection from the state, as a result of which they accept one incident of theft after another, causing irreparable financial damage to the victims. Therefore, Mr. Hatzigiannis asked the Chief of Police to examine the issue of theft of machinery as soon as possible to restore the sense of security of the citizens of the area.
