Many areas of the Community of Agios Georgios Acheritos, Vrysoulon were transformed into a lake due to the heavy rainfall.

Today's bad weather caused minor problems for which the Fire Department was called, which by noon responded to three calls for pumping rainwater from the Free District of Famagusta. Specifically, one call concerned Paralimni and two others in Vrysoules.
As can be seen in the relevant photos, in many areas there has been an increased accumulation due to the clogging of the culverts by leaves due to hail, but also due to the very large amount of rainwater and the inability of the culverts to absorb it.
