A kiosk owner in the Kappari area of Paralimni illegally possessed boxes of cigarettes and packs of tobacco for which the legal duties had not been paid.
According to the Police, on Thursday morning, a member of OPC Famagusta, in collaboration with customs officials, searched, after information, a kiosk located on Kappari Avenue, in Paralimni, owned by a 40-year-old woman from Slovakia.
During the search, which was conducted in the presence of the owner, 10 boxes of cigarettes and 25 packs of tobacco of 25 grams were found, for which the legal duties had not been paid.
All the findings were confiscated by the customs officials, who undertook the investigation of the case and imposed on the 40-year-old out-of-court fine a total of one thousand euros, which she, according to the Police, paid immediately.
