A 19-year-old Algerian man was arrested by DIAS police officers, accused of stealing from bathers on the beaches of Vouliagmeni.
In particular, the foreigner removed a bag, while the owner was swimming, but was noticed by bathers and a little later was arrested by police who rushed to the spot.
According to the investigation of the Vouliagmeni Security Department, the perpetrator committed seven similar thefts on beaches in the area in the last two months.
It is noted that the 19-year-old, who was taken to the Athens Public Prosecutor's Office, has been accused of similar offenses in the past.
