A 6-year-old unemployed man from Deryneia will be found in the cell for 20 days for possession of 470 grams of cannabis. The police are investigating the cases of possession of a controlled Class B drug with the aim of supplying to another person, supply of a controlled Class B drug to another person, possession of a controlled Class B drug, supply of a controlled Class B drug by another person, use of a controlled drug. utensils made for cannabis use, conspiracy to commit a crime and money laundering.
According to the facts of the case, yesterday between 14.45 - 15.20 members of YKAN searched with his consent, the house of the 20-year-old in Deryneia and during the search were found a handmade cigarette, 22 grams of cannabis, a knife and an expensive scale the sum of 380 euros. All the findings were confiscated by the Police and received as evidence.
The 20-year-old then pointed out a spot in the stairwell next to an uninhabited house, in which there was about 430 grams of dry cannabis plant material.
Also on a closed veranda of the uninhabited house, the members of YKAN located, at the suggestion of the 20-year-old, dry cannabis plant material weighing 20 grams.
The young man was arrested, taken into custody and today he was brought before the District Court of Famagusta which issued a detention order against him for six days.
