Nicosia: Within four years the prices of basic goods and services have decreased by 30% mainly due to the fall in oil prices. Foods such as milk and meat fell more than 25%, while the health sector fell 20% in its prices.
Prices for fruits and vegetables fell by almost 14%.
Prices of milk, cheese and eggs fall by 26%. Electricity prices fell by 56% in four years. Medical services fell 33%, while pharmaceuticals fell marginally by 4%. LPG also drops by 44,4%, while in liquid fuels the reduction of prices reaches 31%. The only industry to record price increases since 2013 is vehicles. Prices increased by 21,7%.
