A job at Apple is an elusive dream for many professionals as it is one of the leading companies internationally in its field.

So as one might assume, getting a job at Apple is just not easy. Like Google and other tech giants, Apple asks candidates for technical issues based on interviewees' experience as well as "puzzle" style questions.

TIME Magazine has compiled some of the most difficult questions a prospective employee has ever heard and presents them…

  1. "Explain to an 8-year-old what a modem / router is and what it does."
  2. "Who is your best friend?"
  3. "If you have 2 eggs and you want to find out which is the highest floor you can lay an egg without breaking it, how would you do it? What is the best solution? "
  4. "Describe an interesting problem and how you solve it"
  5. "How many children are born every day?"
  6. "You have 100 coins spread out on a table and each one has a crown side and one letter. 10 of them have the side of the crown and 90 of the letters above. You can not understand by touch, sight or in any other way which side is above. Divide the coins into two stacks so that there is the same number of crowns in each stack. "
