On Wednesday, October 10, a tragic incident occurred in Gazi, near the train tracks: The train hit a young man, who was crossing the tracks with his bicycle at that time, leaving him without legs.
He was taken to the hospital and entering the operating room he said to the doctor "… doctor do what I have to do but please think that only from me the part-time job at home.".
The doctor tried, but eventually mutilated both of his legs.
Today, Giannis is recovering in the bed of the hospital "G. GENNIMATAS ", he smiles and hopes that the money will be found to put extra members and to be able to bring the daily wage to a house with unemployed and minor children.
His friends are organizing a concert on November 6 at the Botanical Garden with many great artists, who agreed to sing for free, in order to help with the ticket costing just 8 euros.
