"We continue to embrace life - Your contribution is important - Declare present this year and support the fight against cancer", is the message that dominates this year Christodoulas course, the leading event of social solidarity and support to cancer patients and their families organized by the Cyprus Cancer Association for 39 years.

At the same time, however, it is the main source of income of the Association, which allows it to offer its services to patients free of charge for all these years. The "Arodafnousa" Palliative Care Center, home care services, psychological and social support, patient transportation and all other support services, which operate with professionalism, with real care and relief for all those who need them.

The march will take place tomorrow, Sunday, April 13, in all cities, while the Cypriot road fundraiser preceded it on April 10, through 44 kiosks that were set up with hundreds of volunteers, students and pupils, who collected contributions from the public.

In the province of Famagusta the procession will start at 11:00 in the morning from the City Hall of Deryneia and will end at the Monument of Christodoula in Sotira (outside the SKE Sotiras Nursery School).

In Nicosia the start will be at the Center for Palliative Care "Arodafnousa" at 11.00 am, while in Limassol there will be two marches. The first will start from the Limassol Municipal Garden at 7.00 pm and the second will take place on Sunday, May 4, 2014 and will start from the Police of the Bases at 10.30 in the morning. In Larnaca the start will be on the podium at the Finikoudes area at 11.00 in the morning, in Paphos the start will be at the Town Hall Square at 10.30 in the morning and in Polis Chrysochous the start will be at the church of St. Andreas at 10.30 in the morning. The main and long-term sponsor of the Christodoulas course is the Bank of Cyprus, which is planning a series of events as part of this year's course.

More specifically, in April, the campaign "Offer of love equal to a coffee" will be organized, through the Bank's branches and services for registration of Cancer Association subscribers, who will state the amount and the period they wish to be deducted monthly from the account. and be submitted to the Cancer Association through an automatic order (standing order).

Through 1Bank will offer a cent to the Cancer Association for every transfer or payment made within April 2014 and next June, the book "80 Recipes that give taste to life" will be available for sale at the Bank's headquarters and elsewhere. .
