The 25th Pancyprian Potato Festival was held with great success on Saturday, June 4, at the First Primary School of Avgorou.

In the area of the Festival there was an exhibition of old and modern agricultural machinery, as well as stands with irrigation items.
The Department of Agriculture created an exhibition stand with all the varieties of potatoes grown in our place.
The show was stolen by the stands of sweets and potato vodka, but also the moisturizing face mask and the organic potato soap.
Chef Nikos Stylianou for the 3rd consecutive year edited the menu with potato dishes which were prepared by the volunteers of the Festival under his guidance.
Many people tried the traditional and modern recipes with potato as the main ingredient.
More than 1600 people visited the Festival.
In the artistic part of the Festival were presented traditional dances from the Cultural Department of THI Avgorou, as well as traditional music by Michalis Terlikkas and his band.
