After a two-day recording, the management of the hospital found out with surprise that a 55-year-old cleaner from Sotira was placing an unknown liquid in the personal water bottles of her colleagues.
Men from TAE Famagusta were called who, after locating her, found a bottle of unknown liquid in her pocket after a search.
Under interrogation, according to the Police, the 55-year-old cleaner admitted that since last July 20, she had been putting urine in the bottles of her colleagues, which she was collecting from the toilets of the hospital!
In the analysis that was done in the liquid that was placed in the bottles, the 55-year-old was found that this contained the staph virus as well as several other germs.
The 55-year-old was taken into custody. Examinations are carried out by the Paralimni Police.
