The world-famous athlete from Sotira Gabriela Fella achieved world distinction on the first day of the Pancyprian Junior and Junior Championships that took place on Saturday, April 29 in Nicosia.
GABRIELLA FELLA of GSE in Shooting with a shot at 16.26m. scored the 7th best performance in the world and the 2nd in Europe.
With her shot, Fella won the 1st place in the Shooting with the 16.26m. to be an equal of the individual and Pancyprian record (under 20 and under 23) but also a new performance of games. This shot is the 7th best performance in the world and the 2nd best in Europe. Gabriela Fella also won the 1st place in the discus throw with a shot of 48.52m. (individual performance).

Georgios Koniarakis of GSO stood out in particular in the Discus throw where with a shot at 61.00m. achieved the 3rd best performance in the world and the 2nd in Europe.
Koniarakis with the 61.00m achieved a new performance of races while Fella equalized its own Pancyprian Record of Juniors, recording at the same time a new performance of races.
In the Junior Discus throw, Christoforos Genethli of GSO achieved an individual performance with 58.48m. which is the 8th best in the world and 3rd in Europe.
Konstantinos Tziakouris of GSO also reached the participation limit for the European Junior Championship in 110m. obstacles after achieving 14.50.
Daphne Georgiou of GSZ in the 100m. Obstacles confirmed her participation limit in the European Junior Championships with the 14.08 she achieved which is at the same time her personal record.
