A total of 79 ecstasy pills were found in a shoe that was hidden in the open in Ayia Napa and a 21-year-old is being held for the case, but he denies any involvement.
According to the Police, on Saturday, August 15, around 09.45 in the morning, a shoe was found in an open area in Ayia Napa, which was hidden in the ground and contained 79 ecstasy pills.
YKAN members put the scene under surveillance until 07.30 on August 16, but without anyone approaching the specific point.
YKAN received the drugs and after investigations, a testimony was secured against a 21-year-old from Ayia Napa, who was later arrested at his home under a court arrest warrant.
The residence of the 21-year-old was searched without finding anything illegal. The young man was transferred to the offices of YKAN Famagusta and is in custody while denying any involvement in the case.
