We have selected eight models from the ones that the automakers are going to launch in the future. So, models of all categories and tastes, with style, dynamism, but also advanced technologies that increase performance and reduce operating costs, are our suggestions, so that you can admire and be informed in depth about what is going to happen…

The first SUV of Alfa Romeo

a4 2

More specifically, on the Italian scene it seems that we are closer than ever to seeing the first Alfa Romeo SUV. In particular, in about two years, the SUV model of Alfa Romeo will make its appearance borrowing many of the elements of the new Jeep Cherokee. Like the Cherokee, the new model will be based on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta platform, while at the same time it will be equipped with the four-cylinder turbo engines available by the Italian brand. In terms of design, the new Alfa Romeo SUV will have a rather aggressive image, while it is possible to rely on the Kamal prototype, which the brand showed us in 2003.

New Fiat 500X

a6 1

Another interesting case will be the new Fiat 500X. Following the recent addition of the 500L and the upcoming 7-seater version of the 500L range, Fiat is preparing to further expand the options of its successful 500 by launching the SUV version of the model. The new Fiat 500X will be manufactured from 2014 at the brand's factory in Melfi, Italy, along with a corresponding model for Jeep. The length of the new Italian car is expected to be 4,2 meters, while inside it can accommodate up to 5 passengers.

The total capacity of the trunk is estimated at 400 liters, while there will be 4 × 2 and 4 × 4 versions. In terms of design, the car will base its presence on the retro-modern lines of the Fiat 500, having a very attractive presentation.

New generation Mercedes C-Class

a2 8

The new generation Mercedes C-Class (W205) will be officially unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014, just before the start of its commercial journey in European markets.

This is a brand new model, with an impressive image, but also larger dimensions than before. In terms of design, the new C-Class will therefore receive a particularly attractive design, gaining more ribs and edges than ever before, with its general lines directly referring to 4-door coupe cars.

In the engines, we will have the new 2 liter turbo gasoline engine of 184 and 211 hp, while a new version of this engine with over 250 hp will supply the new Mercedes C300. It is possible that there will be a 1,6 turbo with 150 hp of the A / B-Class. At the top of the range we will find a 3 liter twin-turbo with 330 hp, with the AMG versions acquiring a new 5,5 liter twin-turbo with an output of over 450 hp!

New smart fortwo

a1 10

Also, the new smart fortwo in its third generation will be launched in 2014. The dwarf model comes completely changed, having the same platform as that of the next Renault Twingo. At the same time, its exterior design is quite rounded, the lights are getting bigger, but the Tridion safety cage remains. In the engines, smart keeps who they are as a seven-sealed secret, with a possible, however, a new 2-cylinder 64-horsepower gasoline engine, but also a fully electric version. A "fortwo + 2" version will also be added to the range for the first time, with a longer wheelbase, rear doors and 2 rows of seats. More powerful 3-cylinder turbo gasoline engines are expected, especially for this model.

New Opel Corsa

a7

Opel seems to be revealing the 5th generation Corsa near 2016 and the model will have a completely new platform. In fact, this platform has been developed in collaboration with PSA Peugeot-Citroen, with the aim of reducing the weight of the car as much as possible, which will lead to a reduction in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. This floor will also be the basis for the next Citroen C3 / Peugeot 208. In the field of powertrains, we will see completely new engines, turbo and direct injection. In terms of design, the German small acquires a more dynamic design than the current model, coming closer aesthetically to the presence of the larger Astra.

Toyota Auris Touring Sports

a3 5

Many models will come to us from the Japanese market again, including the Toyota Auris Touring Sports, which will probably arrive in Greece by the end of the year. Toyota therefore presents for the first time in history, this type of version of the Auris. The new Toyota Auris Touring Sports follows the main design forms of the newer generation of the Auris, in an aesthetic result that looks quite dynamic and at the same time, benefits the aerodynamics of the car. Inside, the car does not differ aesthetically and qualitatively from that of the 5-door model, in the spaces also stands out the large trunk of 530 liters (360 liters in the 5-door), but also the large opening of the rear door, with the lowest by 100 χλστ. loading threshold.

Mazda MX-5

a5

At the same time, after the completion of the agreement with Fiat for "borrowing" the next MX-5 to Alfa Romeo (floor and engine), in order to create the new Spider, Mazda launches the project of the Japanese roadster that has been delayed for financial reasons . So, the new MX-5 will be officially presented in 2015, remaining rear-wheel drive and with the engine in front, while it will be lighter than the current one. In the design part, our spy, electrically processed photo reveals a very dynamic roadster, which will change significantly compared to the past of the MX-5.

Small SUV from Honda

to 149

Finally, Honda "dares" in the category of small SUVs, with the original Urban SUV Concept, which was presented in Detroit in January, to give us the first taste of the new model of the company. In production, this model will be launched first in Japan at the end of 2013 and then in other markets in 2014. The production model is not expected to differ significantly from the original and thus is expected to maintain the curved body, with the small in size glass surfaces and strong ribs on the sides. At the front, the new "V" shaped grille of Honda models and especially the new CR-V will come in the smaller SUV, while at the rear the windshield is small, emphasizing the Crossover character of the car. Technically, the prototype is based on the same platform as the Honda Jazz, with a length of 4,3 meters. At the moment, it is not known the range of its engines, or whether this crossover will also receive the diesel 1,6 i-DTEC engine of the brand.
