The weather will be clear today, Monday, according to the Meteorological Service. The rains will return from tomorrow and for the next few days.

Relatively high pressure affects the area.

Today the weather will be mostly clear, but locally there will be increased clouds at intervals, mainly in the mountains. The winds will blow in the morning mainly northwesterly to northeasterly, weak and locally moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort, to become southwesterly in the afternoon as northwesterly, of the same intensity. The sea will be a little turbulent and windward to turbulent, but initially to the east turbulent. The temperature will rise to around 18 degrees inland and on the coast and around 8 degrees in the higher mountains.

Tonight the weather will be mostly clear, but in the western half of the island there will be temporarily increased clouds. The winds will blow mainly southwest to northwest, weak and on the leeward coast moderate, 3 to 4 Beaufort. The sea will be a little turbulent in the leeward and up to a little turbulent on the rest of the coast. The temperature will drop to around 6 degrees inland, around 9 degrees on the southwest coast, around 10 on the rest of the coast and around one degree in the higher mountains. Frost is expected locally in the mountains.

On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday periods with mostly clear weather will alternate with cloudy, which is likely to give locally light rains, mainly in the mountains and in the western half of the island. Snow water is likely to fall on the highest peaks of Troodos.

The temperature is not expected to change significantly, to fluctuate close to or slightly above the average climatic values.

The height of the snow, in Troodos square, at the time of issuing the bulletin, was 13 cm.
