Nine ecclesiastical icons, six ancient clay vessels, another broken clay object and other ancient objects were found in the possession of Ciaban Beyaz in occupied Famagusta.
According to the Turkish Cypriot press, his arrest was made following information given to the "police" of Famagusta.
The findings were found in a plastic bag and a suitcase at the home of the 57-year-old, who said he had found them in a dilapidated house inside Famagusta within the walls. As it was said in the "court", the findings will be evaluated tomorrow, Tuesday, by experts who will assess their value and date.
