The event-presentation of the Poetry Album "Famagusta", by Atlas publications, in poetry by Thanos Kosyvas and a photo by Petros Fiakkas, which took place in the framework of the events "Spring Days of Muses 2017" The school of Katerini, with its historical backgrounds, poetic and musical interventions and photographic imprints, aimed to bring us in direct contact with the living state of Famagusta and all of occupied Cyprus, to break the dams, the barbed wire, the green lines and take us to Famagusta and make us wander in its neighborhoods there, swim in its sea, drink clear water from the headwaters and look with the eyes of the soul at its clear sky.
On the Ancient Altar of Salamis, in the sacred temples of Medieval Famagusta and in the Fenced city to break the line, to go flying wherever our heart goes, through the photos of the Cypriot photographer Petros Fiakkas and through the poetry of Thanos Kosivas .

The Cypriot photographer Petros Fiakkas with the wonderful photo exhibition "Famagusta, my city", traveled us to his favorite city.
A part of these monuments, from the sea and the sky of the Cypriot land, from Famagusta and Salamina, are immortalized by the photographic lens of Petros Fiakkas.
These photos are not part of a nostalgic era but moments of eternity that do not belong to anyone, moments that were kept alive by the eye and lens of a man who loved his place, a man who seeks the truth in a detail whose existence gives another meaning to people's lives.

The secretary of the "Iris" photographic group of the Pierides Muses Center of Katerini, Stella Tzitzili, presented a photo album of Iris to the Cypriot photographer as a souvenir.
The president of the Association of Cypriots of N. Pieria "O Evagoras", Andreas Michael, addressed a greeting to the Cypriot photographer and recited a poem by him.
Greetings were addressed by the MP of Pieria Mrs. Betty Skoufa, the Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Katerini Mrs. Pipitsa Makridou-Partsalidou and the President of OPPAP Municipality of Katerini, Mr. Thodoros Pavlidis.
This event was co-organized with the Writers' Union of Pieria, the Ephorate of Photography "Iris" of the Pierides Muses Center of Katerini, which curated the photography exhibition of Petros Fiakkas and the Association of Cypriots of Pieria "Evagoras".
