Deja vu is not the only one

We all have an experience of different emotions and thoughts that we experience occasionally. Some things we say or do, at the same time we have the feeling that we have said them before or that we have done them again. We feel that we have relived the moment or that we know what the other person will say before saying it, and the like…

Let's look at the 10 strangest phenomena that happen at some point in our minds!

1) Deja vu

Déjà vu is the experience of having experienced or seen a new situation in the past. Feel like the event has already happened or is happening again. The experience is usually accompanied by a strong sense of intimacy and a sense of paradox or strangeness. The "past" experience is usually attributed to a dream, but sometimes there is a firm sense that it has actually happened in the past.

2) Deja Vecu

Déjà vécu is what most people experience when they think they are experiencing deja vu. Déjà vu is the feeling one has when one has seen something before, while déjà vécu is the experience of having seen an event in the past, but in great detail, such as recognizing smells and sounds. This, too, is usually accompanied by a very strong sense of knowledge about what is to come next.

3) Deja Visite

Déjà visite is a less common experience and involves a strange knowledge of a new place. For example, you may know the location around you (a new city or a landscape) even though you have never visited it. That is, you know that it is impossible for you to have this knowledge and yet you have it.

4) Deja Senti

Déjà senti is the phenomenon of having already felt something. The phrase "I have experienced this again" perfectly captures the Deja Senti. This is purely a mental phenomenon and rarely remains in our memory later. Many epileptic patients often experience deja senti.

5) Never Vu

Jamais Vu describes a familiar situation that we do not recognize. It is often considered to be the opposite of déjà vu. The observer does not recognize the situation although it is known that he was present at it. Like when a person does not currently recognize a person, a word, or a place despite the fact that he actually knows them.

6) Presue Vu

Presque Vu is very similar to the feel on the "tip of the tongue". When someone is ready to say a word but his mind gets stuck and it does not come out.

7) The escalator

L'esprit de l'escalier is when an idea comes to us, a clever thought when it is too late. It is known to us "after a holiday".

8) Capgras Delusion

Capgras Delusion is the phenomenon in which a person believes that a close friend or family member has been replaced by an identical one and is looking for the one who cheated on him. This delusion is found in people suffering from schizophrenia.

9) Fregoli Delusion

Fregoli Delusion is a rare brain phenomenon in which a person believes that different people are the same person in a variety of disguises. It is often associated with paranoia and the belief that the person in disguise is trying to pursue them.

10) Prosopagnosia

Prosopagnosia is a phenomenon in which a person is unable to recognize the faces of people or objects he needs to know. People with this disorder are usually able to use their other senses to identify individuals - such as a person's scents, the shape or style of their hair, the sound of their voice, or even their walking. A classic case of this disorder was presented in a book in 1998 called "The Man Who Confused His Wife with a Hat".
