The church and the state welcomed with deep emotion the relics of Saints Mamantos and Theklis which will remain in the Holy Temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior until September 20. Afterwards, an evening service was held by the Archimandrite of the Holy Monastery of Kykkos, Amfilochios Kykkotos.
The arrival of the holy relics is part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the inauguration of the Holy Temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior celebrated by the Church of the Savior and the Holy Diocese of Constantia-Famagusta in a five-day festive celebration .
On Thursday, September 17, Orthros and Divine Liturgy will be performed at 6 in the morning, while at 6 in the afternoon there will be Vespers and Prayer. At 7:30 pm a speech will be given by Archimandrite Photios Ioakeim in the courtyard of the Holy Temple on "The importance of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the life of the Church - The case of the lives of the great martyrs Mamantos and Theklis.
On Friday, September 18 at 6 in the morning there will be an Orthros and Divine Liturgy while from 8:30 in the evening until 12:30 at midnight there will be a Holy Vigil.
On Saturday at 6 in the afternoon there will be an evening service and on Sunday at 6:30 in the morning Orthros and the Divine Liturgy, while at 6 in the afternoon a Prayer.
The Holy Temple will be open for pilgrimage during the festivities from 6 in the morning until 9:30 in the evening.
