Ayia Napa: Towers used as gambling machines confiscated by Police

Eight computer towers and a remote control used as gambling machines were seized by police from two premises in Ayia Napa.

According to the Police, on Wednesday night, based on a search warrant, members of the Famagusta Police Department and the Ayia Napa Police Station raided two premises in Ayia Napa, for which there were reports that computers were being converted and used as gaming machines.

A Romanian resident of Ayia Napa was in charge of the first premises during the search. Police located and confiscated 4 computer towers and a remote control.

A 36-year-old man from Ayia Napa was in charge of the second premises and the Police proceeded to confiscate 4 electronic towers.
