As the Rector characteristically stated, "our joy is special for the cooperation that will be signed today with the Famagusta EBE, the Chamber of Commerce of a city, which was and is for us the endless queen".

The President of EVEA Mr. George Mavroudis welcomed the cooperation with the University of Cyprus. "The study involves a lot of work but the most important thing is not to stay on paper. "With courage and good preparation, the goals will be able to be realized", he noted.

The Rector assured those present that it would be possible to achieve all the goals with cooperation from both sides. The cooperation can be extended to other areas, such as joint participation in events and conferences. He gave an example at last year's conference held at the University of Cyprus on the subject of Salamis. In such events, he stressed, Famagusta must be present.
