As of today, the Department of Land Registry and Geometry offers new online services through the government security gate "Ariadne".

According to a statement issued by the Land Registry, a Real Estate Research Certificate, a Simple Research Certificate and a Real Estate Research Certificate will be offered.

The Department announces that the Service, "Simple Research Certificate", will be provided free of charge until the end of 2014.

The Land Registry also informs that at the end of the year, the following services will also be added to the specific services:

• Real Estate Research Certificate
• For Real Estate History
• For Neighboring Real Estate
• For Personal Prohibitions
• For a Specific Property Type
• Certificate of Research for Sales and Sales Documents
• Copy of Property Title
• Copy of Real Estate Plan
• the Real Estate Declaration

Applicants (Natural and Legal Entities, Governmental Organizations, etc.) will have to follow a specific registration process on the Government Online Security Site platform, at https://cge.cyprus.gov.cy/, as well as their identification, at the Citizen Service Centers or at specific post offices.

During the pilot application until the end of the year, any application for the issuance of research certificates, which will be signed and stamped by the Director of the Department, will be subject to the payment of the legal fees.

The ultimate goal is to facilitate and immediately inform the public about the new values ​​at prices 1.1.2013, which have been adopted through the process of the New General Assessment.

"The Department of Land Registry and Spatial Planning, as an assistant in matters of technology, IT applications and especially e-Services, has set the goal of continuous upgrading of its services to the public, both with intermediate applications of e-Government and with the implementation of its own "DLS Portal Internet Service Platform at the beginning of 2016", it is mentioned in an announcement.

The aim of the implementation of a comprehensive IT Strategy in the Department, the announcement concludes, is to provide upgraded services to the public, with the aim that, in the near future, much of the public's legal transactions will be carried out online.
