In order to reduce crime and prevent it, a Pandemic Rally will be held today at 6:00 pm at the Municipal Theater of Sotira with the aim of implementing the program "Neighborhood Observer" in the Municipality of Sotira.
More than 150 citizens of Sotira have already registered in the program and the goal is the participation of more and more residents with the aim of greater dissemination of the institution and better response to criminal activities in the Municipality, the neighborhood and our homes.
The gathering will be attended by Stavros Neophytou, chief coordinator in the Municipality of Idali, where the institution managed to reduce crime by 60%. On behalf of the Cyprus Youth Organization, Ms. will also speak. Soula Pappouti, Officer of the Prevention and Consulting Services.
An extensive presentation will be made by the Head of the Crime Prevention Office of the Police Headquarters, Senior Lieutenant, Mr. Petros Pattouras, who will also present ways to properly prevent crime.
