The Catechism Meetings of the Savior are revived today, Easter Monday, the traditional Easter games and the traditional Easter feast with the event “Christ is Risen! The sky trembles to fall ”… with many games and activities
The games and events start at 2:30 pm and will continue until the evening in the courtyard of the Holy Temple of the Transfiguration of the Savior with the title: "Christ is Risen! The sky is trembling to fall! "
The event will start with traditional games such as egg races, bag races, donkey ride, Easter sushi and much more while kiosks will be set up in the area which will sell various delicacies in support of the Social Grocery of the Church of the Savior.
At 5:00 p.m. The Evening Litany will follow at 6:15 p.m. Traditional dances will be presented by the Sotiras Catechism Traditional Dance Workshop.
The event will close at 7:00 p.m. with the theatrical comedy "I ate the sheet metal" by children and young people of the Catechism.
The event is part of the celebrations for the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Savior Catechism Meetings, in 1955.
